Youth Wing
Mission: Forging unity, grooming leaders proud of their heritage, excelling in community service, skills, and fostering cultural enrichment.
Goals:
- Develop volunteer partnerships with local charities and community centers to encourage youth participation in causes like environmental cleanup, food distribution, and help grow participation with the younger members of our community.
- Create and implement social service missions to help not only the community in Fort Myers, but also communities around the state and country by growing connections with community organizations throughout the nation as well as in Florida.
- Foster intergenerational relationships between the youth and seniors in Fort Myers by hosting intergenerational events where youth can collaborate with elders on storytelling, cooking,craft workshops and more to preserve traditions while fostering mutual respect.
- Launch procultural, educational, and service-oriented activities that are organized by the youth to promote ownership, creativity, and leadership skills among teens and young adults.
